8 year old arrested for housebreaking
The Steadcastle Community rallied together to ensure that there was no escape route for two young burglars on Tuesday around midday.
To two juveniles aged 8 and 14 were allegedly walking through Newlands on the pretext of begging for food, when they knocked at a house in Steadcastle and found no response. They allegedly walked to the back of the property, smashed the window and kicked in the burglar guards.
