Black dollar scam-be warned
Members of the Commercial Crimes Unit, banking crimes Section are concerned about the increase in reported incidents of Black Dollar Scams. They say the scamsters are becoming bolder.
The black dollar scam is an old scam where members of the group will approach unsuspecting individuals and inform them of the availability of black dollars that can be cleaned with a certain chemicals.
The con artists will always use different stories but the underlying theme is the black dollars, which can be cleaned with a special chemical that only the fraudsters know about.
